Ludwig Museum, Budapest
H-1095 Budapest, Komor Marcell utca 1.
14. February – 29. March 2020
The Ludwig Museum continues its practice of presenting the Hungarian
exhibition of the Venice Biennale to the public in Budapest. In 2019,
Tamás Waliczky’s exhibition Imaginary Cameras was on display at the
Hungarian Pavilion. The artist’s series of 23 imaginary cameras,
designed with the use of digital technology but operating in an
analogous way, and animations simultaneously provide an aesthetic
experience and reflect on forgotten alternatives to technical
development that can be revived by artistic thinking.
